Masaoka Shiki had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He became famous as a world-class poet, baseball player, writer, journalist, tanka poet and literary critic. Nevertheless, the Japanese poet, author, and literary critic in Meiji period Japan was particularly known for his special public appearances and his livable character.
